Kids Yoga
Join US for our THERAPEUTIC KIDs and teens YOGA PROGRAms
Facilitated by Lucy Bianchi, Child & Youth Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher. This is a 60 minute program designed to teach children 7 and up how to bring calm to their busy minds and bodies through a series of breath work (pranayama) movement (asana) and meditation (shavasana).

Each class will begin with breathwork to calm their busy minds and bodies. This allows kids to settle into their space and acknowledge where they feel and hear their breath. Secondly, we set intentions and self affirmations to promote self confidence. Yoga postures (asanas) will be used to stay focused on the here and now, while improving on alignment, balance and gain confidence. During class I incorporate yoga games to build connection and enhance their verbal and non-verbal skills with their peers. Guided meditation will close the class. Meditation helps to gain new perspectives on stressful situations, builds skills to manage stress, increase self awareness and reduce negative emotions.
